Just set up my EEC. I don't have a mouse listed on the compatible list, but decided to try a number of laser and optical mice I have. The symptom is no mouse movement in game, though aim down site and fire work on FPSs. Can I assume these are just incompatible mice and I haven't made some error in set-up?

Thanks...

So your mouse movement don't work but the buttons do? Thats strange. Please contact us at here: we like to take a look at the unit you have there. We can give you a replacement to see how it works.

Before that, can I have you try one thing for me please? Can you plug you EEC into your PC and then open up Eagle Edit 2.0. Then press the "Sync" button and then on the bottom of the key map page for the key map you are using, can you check to see what the values are for X Sensitivity and Y Sensitivity? If they are at 1 try increasing them.

Thanks for your response. I decided to update firmware again and remap keys. Essentially starting over. I also purchased a new G500 and everything seems to be fine. Interestingly, I then connected an old mouse, a Logitech MX400 and it works as well. I have not tried other laser mice I also have. So at this point I think we can add the MX400 to the list of compatible mice. While I didn't need a new mouse after all, I got a nice new G500 in the process....Newegg is running a nice special right now and with the rebate it was dirt cheap.

Thanks again.
